The dominant feature of this relief image is a horse and rider pictured leaping from the left side of the image to the right. A lion jumps towards the horse and rider from the right, while another horse enters the scene from the left. Both horses are clad in decorative headgear while the rider is wearing a cap, a mouth guard, a long, elaborate robe and shoes laced up to the knee. With his one raised arm, the king hurls a spear into the open jaws of the attacking lion.
